Why People Rent Storage
A smaller home or an RV does not have a garage, an attic or a spare room. Most people who rent a storage unit use it for the things they want to keep but do not need every day.
- Furniture that did not fit after a move
- Holiday decorations and seasonal clothes
- Tools, lawn equipment and work gear
- Boxes of family keepsakes and paperwork
- Camping, fishing and hunting gear
What Size Do You Need?
A 5 x 10 unit is about the size of a walk-in closet. It holds boxes, totes, a mattress set and a few small pieces of furniture.
A 10 x 10 unit is about the size of a bedroom. It holds the furniture from a one-bedroom home.
A 10 x 20 unit is about the size of a one-car garage. It holds a full household, or a vehicle.
